Job Description

As a Jira/Confluence Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Jira feature requests, ensuring that the product met the needs of our users, and coordinating with various stakeholders to drive the product's success. This role involves strategic planning, feature prioritization, and collaboration with the development team to deliver high-quality product updates.

This role would focus on creating and optimizing tools from product intake (i.e. something like Product Discovery by Atlassian) to KPI tracking to ensure our processes are efficient and effective.

Currently, the focus would be on Jira and Confluence, but the role would also include:

  • Evaluating and improving current tools: Assessing how we use Jira and Confluence and finding areas for improvement.
  • Integrating tools and processes: Making sure our tools work well together throughout the product management lifecycle, removing areas of waste and data duplication.
  • Defining and tracking KPIs: Setting and measuring key performance indicators for our processes and tools.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Working with various teams to understand their needs and ensure the tools meet those needs.
  • Continuous improvement: Keeping up with the latest in product management tools and implementing best practices.
