Summary Of Position

The marketing manager drives the company's growth strategy by identifying ideal prospects and activities to drive leads for a B2B services company. The manager "gets it quick" and then can lead the small team of marketing and BDR professionals in setting goals, overseeing activities, and holding the team accountability. Activities include setting a growth strategy, driving inbound leads, nurturing current contacts and lapsed clients, engaging and retaining strategies, managing the database for performance, generating referrals, and managing the website. The manager has a deep understanding of HubSpot and using metrics to track and analyze successes of various campaigns to adapt and improve the lead generation strategies and tactics.

A successful candidate is data driven and understands the "science and art" of marketing and client service concepts, inbound and outbound lead generation, and growth metrics. Experience with growing a B2B services company through building relationships, communities and lead generation.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Define clear growth goals and objectives and key results (OKRs), aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies across customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and upselling activities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and prioritize key growth areas within current HubSpot contacts, online and membership groups, social media, referrals, export/HR communities and other identified areas.
  • Implement processes to coordinate communication of growth opportunities across the buyer's journey.
  • Manage a growth team consisting of a BDR, content writer and social media specialist to foster a culture of growth by experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Partner closely with operations to align growth strategies for upselling, referrals, and new areas of growth.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that could lead to growth.
  • Communicate growth plans and progress to stakeholders across the organization.

Relevant Experience

  • Deep experience with HubSpot and Office 365 Teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving continuous growth.
  • Experience leading teams to achieve growth objectives.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience with customer lifecycle management and strategies to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Passionate about languages, cultures, and diversity.
