SAIC is looking for a Control Systems Engineer in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Support control system design and development for power & energy systems.
  • Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering and 0 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; not needed to start
  • Experience with schematic and layout design in Altium
  • Experience designing battery charging systems, specifically constant current for AgZn
  • Familiarity with power electronics
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers and digital communication interfaces
  • Firmware Engineer
  • Experience writing microcontroller code in C, C++, Assembly
  • Familiarity with communications over SPI, I2C, Serial, etc.

DESIRED
  • Use of LabView and MatLab, C++
  • Prior experience supporting DoD and/or NSWC Crane
  • Computer Science strengths preferred to develop and maintain data pipelines using Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc. to analyze data and implement quality control checks
  • Use GitHub and Microsoft DevOps to implement version control of the created code
