Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform a variety of analytical and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in the validation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Record and analyze experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research, quality assurance, and production to address testing requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, disposing of waste in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for regulatory submissions or internal audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a laboratory environment
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
