Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform a variety of analytical and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in the validation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly.
  • Record and analyze experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research, quality assurance, and production to address testing requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, disposing of waste in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for regulatory submissions or internal audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
