Automation & Controls Engineer (Emerson DeltaV DCS) Spokane, WA or Remote
A growing and successful control systems integration and services company is seeking experienced Automation & Controls Engineers with Emerson DeltaV DCS expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or from Spokane, WA, with travel to customer sites across the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DCS configuration, installation, and commissioning, as well as experience with PLC systems and industrial process instrumentation. This position requires technical proficiency, analytical skills, and attention to detail, along with the ability to support clients automation and control system needs over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, install, commission, and maintain Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
Perform troubleshooting, system upgrades, and technical support for DCS and PLC systems.
Analyze requirements and ensure proper integration of hardware and software.
Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring optimal system performance.
Travel to remote customer sites across the United States (up to 50%).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS.
Strong computer, server, and networking skills.
Background in instrumentation (I&E) or engineering is beneficial.
Must have a valid driver s license and be able to pass drug and alcohol screening.
Must comply with all customer site access requirements.
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available).
Ability to lift 25+ pounds, work in various physical positions, and wear required safety gear when necessary.
