HR Coordinator

LOCATION: University Park

CONTRACT (to Hire) ROLE: 70% chance this role will be converted to direct hire in the future)

PAY RANGE: $55-65k (depending on experience - may have a little flexibility over $65k)

Position Overview:

The HR Coordinator will provide vital support to the HR team, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and talent acquisition. This individual will handle a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and administrative support, while ensuring an efficient and seamless hiring process for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for manufacturing and corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategic recruiting plans.
  • Utilize various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking, to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience, from offer acceptance through new hire orientation.

HR Support & Administration

  • Assist with employee relations matters by providing HR guidance and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, compliance documents, and recruiting reports.
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as retention programs, employee engagement efforts, and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company HR regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-3 years of HR and/or recruiting experience
  • Strong understanding of full cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
