Vice President of Financial Operations (RCM)
Our Phoenix based client is hiring for a VP of Financial Operations to join their growing team. The VP of Financial Operations will oversee revenue cycle management, billing and collections and accounts receivable. This role requires strategic oversight, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration as the company continues to grow and scale.
This is an in office role and will offer relocation to out of state candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end billing process ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Develop and implement revenue cycle management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure finance performance.
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure accurate collections and billings.
- Provide reporting and financial analysis to senior leadership, including the CEO.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large team, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and professional development.
- Cross-functional collaboration with teams to implement process improvements and ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and requirements.
- Stay current on changes in regulations, tax laws, and industry practices and adjust processes accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in billing, finance, or revenue operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Extensive experience with healthcare billing including Medicare and Medicare.
- Proven track record in process optimization and operational improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
