Job Description:
As an IT Analyst specializing in Healthcare Software Systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of critical software applications within healthcare environments. Your primary focus will be on leading enhancements, integrations, and providing support for internally developed applications across multiple business lines. This position requires you to contribute from software development through testing, support, and participation in software upgrade projects. You will be an integral part of the IT team, leveraging technology to exceed customer expectations and meet the company’s financial goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Collaboration and Communication
• Lead key enhancements and upgrades for new Line of Business initiatives.
• Develop innovative IT strategies to adapt to the changing needs of the market.
• Collaborate with developers and other software specialists to enhance, support, and maintain software.
• Provide technical insights and reporting to complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure clear communication and guidance for project members and end-users.
Technical Application Service and Support
• Develop Front-End User Interfaces that best represent our capabilities.
• Build Middleware solutions to sustain current software and integrate with other platforms.
• Design databases and reports to empower users to analyze their own performance.
• Utilize technologies such as C#, SQL Server, WebAPI, Telerik Controls, HTML 5, and CSS 3 to develop applications.
• Provide support during system go-lives and upgrades, including off-hour releases when necessary.
• Resolve or triage support calls related to software issues, ensuring minimal disruption in healthcare services.
Software Installation & Upgrades
• Plan and execute software upgrades in coordination with relevant teams.
• Install, configure, and deploy healthcare software applications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure success in client deployments.
• Conduct comprehensive post-installation testing to verify functionality and compatibility.
Qualifications/Certifications:
• A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a development or technical role in a corporate setting.
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL Server, WebAPI, Telerik Controls, HTML 5, CSS 3.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows, PCs, SQL, databases, and software applications.
• Experience with PowerBI, Telerik Reporting, or similar reporting and BI tools.
• Knowledge of Mobile application development for Android and iOS systems is a plus.
• Experience in supporting integration components and web services.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server Management Studio and associated tools.
• Experience with change control processes, SDLC, and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of Web applications, Azure Cloud, and Azure SQL.
• Familiarity with APIs and other integration platforms.
• Experience with SaaS models and applications is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
