Responsibilities/Qualifications Internship Details This position will support our People and Culture (HR) department. Our team is involved in global talent strategy, rewards & recognition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, as well as DEI initiatives. Location: Longmont, CO Duration: Summer 2025 (12 weeks) Work Mode: Hybrid Reports to: Sr. Director Talent Acquisition & Development About the Role We are seeking a passionate and tech-savvy HR Intern to join our team for the summer. This role will focus on designing and implementing a streamlined software-based recognition process to enhance employee engagement and appreciation. The intern will gain hands-on experience in HR technology, process improvement, and employee engagement strategies while working closely with HR professionals and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities (Summer Project) Develop a software-based recognition process to support a culture of appreciation within the organization. Research and recommend technology solutions for employee recognition, considering usability, scalability, and integration with existing HR systems. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to design, test, and implement a working prototype. Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to refine the recognition process. Assist in creating communication and training materials to support the rollout and adoption of the new system. Analyze data and trends to measure the effectiveness of recognition efforts. Support additional HR projects related to engagement and culture initiatives. Qualifications and Skills Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Strong interest in HR technology, employee engagement, and recognition programs. Technical proficiency, with experience in software development, workflow automation, or HR systems being a plus. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with a process-oriented mindset. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power Automate). Familiarity with HRIS platforms, workflow automation tools, or low-code/no-code software is a plus.
