We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX for a contract role lasting 6 to 12 months. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a strong background in managing Oracle-based projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of Oracle technologies and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Oracle implementation, upgrade, or migration projects from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project success.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and Oracle-specific methodologies.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure lessons learned are documented.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on Oracle-based projects (e.g., Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Database).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle technologies and their application in business environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  • Local to Dallas, TX, or willing to work onsite as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations or migrations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, or HR modules.
