Client is looking for Sr. GIS Engineer / Project Manager to provide Geographic Information Science (GIS) support for the Portfolio Development Team and other exploration projects. Key activities will be in support of regulatory/permitting efforts, support of portfolio expansion opportunities, and for regional data integration and prospect portfolio build activities. Ability to interface and gain alignment with key internal and external stakeholders is critical to the success of this position as candidate will be asked to lead/coordinate key collaborative efforts.
Must have Skills and Experience:
- Experience in installing and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure on cloud environment (Azure preferred).
- Managing, monitoring and optimizing published map, image, feature and tile services. Basic knowledge of publication of services is required.
- Experience in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise application/custom tool/services and modifying/updating existing deployments using CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience administrating, maintaining and managing custom ArcGIS development tools and out of the box tools.
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining ArcGIS License manager.
- Working with networking and firewall team in securing and maintaining the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and adhering to enterprise security policies.
- Experience with ArcGIS automation tools like Python API for ArcGIS and WebGISDR tool.
- Experience in monitoring the performance and health of the site using ArcGIS Monitor, server logs and statistics.
- Experience in upgrading ArcGIS software to latest versions following ESRI standards and internal security policies.
- Portal content management and curation.
- Experience working with ADO board and managing PBIs/tasks through ADO board.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, implement and support solutions that enable the successful execution of exploration work programs and NV activities.
- Work within a high performance, agile culture that works across
- Perform configurations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions (ArcGIS Apps, etc.).
- Experience with supporting GIS database services (RDBMS), specifically on SQL Server.
- Experience on FME Desktop and FME Server.
- Setup, management, and customization of web mapping applications based on ESRI s Java Script API.
- Experience in ArcGIS WorkFlow Manager.
