Technical Project Manager (Commercial or Retail bank)
Role : Technical Project Manager
Location : Hybrid @ NYC, NY, Only Locals to NY,NJ,PA,VA,CT Area or close by states who can commute 2 days/week to office
Duration - 6+ Months Contract
JD:
- Need 6-7+ years recent experience with Commercial or Retail bank
- Need core banking functionalities experience (Loan, Payments, Risk, Cash Management, Funds Transfer etc.,
- Candidate Overall experience should not exceed 20 years
- PMP Certification Active
The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:
Develop project plan and phase documentation, including resource and cost management, test plans, and appropriate monitoring and control activities
Coordinate the collection and management of business requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders and establish communication cadence with project team
Collaborate with development managers to plan work scope, resource allocation and schedules
Adhere to governance controls such RACI cards, traceability matrices and toll gate reviews
Qualifications
The profile of the project manager includes the following qualities:
PMP or PMI-ACP credential
At least 7 years experience as a project manager in the financial services industry, preferably banking
Proficiency with tools of the trade Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing project budgets and reporting of project financials
Strong communications and stakeholder management skills, including establishment of communication cadence to the project team
Experience working and managing third party vendors including requirements specification as well as delivery management
Ability to work under limited supervision and to quickly grasp complex problems and provide solutions
