Leupold is a family-owned American company with over a century of grit and determination. We craft optics that never quit—built right here in the USA—for hunters, shooters, and warfighters who demand the best. We’re searching for a Social Community Specialist to amplify that legacy into the digital world, connect with our community, and drive our digital presence forward.

We’re a family-owned business, rooted in American manufacturing and a relentless drive to serve our community. This role puts you at the core of that mission, linking us to the people who trust our products. You’ll join a team obsessed with excellence, loyalty, and pushing the limits. Ready to take Leupold’s digital game to the next level? Show us what you’ve got.

Your Mission:

You’ll embody Leupold’s “Be Relentless” ethos, turning social channels and digital communities into a force for engagement. This isn’t just about posting—it’s about forging bonds, creating content that hits home, and building a digital footprint that mirrors our commitment to quality and craft. You’re here to inspire, connect, and keep our audience fired up.

Our benefits package is amazing:

  • affordable health and dental insurance
  • a strong commitment to training and professional development including an internal skills development program for all manufacturing team members
  • a generous tuition reimbursement program
  • company contributions up to 8% of base pay into a 401K retirement account
  • profit sharing
  • and great product discounts (to name a few)

What You’ll Be Doing as a Social Community Specialist:

The Social Media Content Specialist supports the Leupold brand by successfully managing all social communities and strategically implements engaging content that contributes to the company’s overall marketing goals.

  • Command the Channels: Take charge of our social ecosystem—X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube—running it with precision and launching campaigns that resonate.
  • Craft Killer Content: Build posts, reels, and stories that evoke our brands ethos. Repurpose customer content to fuel the fire and show the world what Leupold loyalists are made of.
  • Engage Like a Pro: Jump into comments, tackle questions, and fuel authentic conversations that deepen our community’s trust.
  • Scout the Landscape: Stay ahead of social trends, Ai tools, and platforms, bringing insights back to keep us ahead of the game.
  • Grow the Tribe: Expand our online communities—social, forums, groups—and forge ties with influencers and creators alongside our Industry Partnership Manager.
  • Power Paid Efforts: Oversee paid digital efforts with our partner agency, ensuring ads amplify our reach and complement our organic strategy.
  • Align the Vision: Sync with sales, product, and marketing crews to keep our social strategy locked in with Leupold’s broader mission.
  • Measure the Impact: Track the numbers, uncover insights, and deliver quarterly reports that prove our digital strategy is paying off.

Skills and Experience You’ll Need as a Social Community Specialist:

Who You Are:

  • You’ve got a four-year degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field—or you’ve earned your stripes through real-world experience that stacks up.
  • You bring 3+ years in marketing, with a deep understanding of social media platforms and how to make them work.
  • You’re creative and resourceful—graphic design or video/photo editing skills are a plus, but crafting bold-ideas is a must.
  • You know social—from Instagram’s visuals to X’s pace, you know how to craft the right content that fits our voice every time.
  • You can turn technical details into clear, compelling stories, both written and visually.
  • You’re relentless—organized, detail-obsessed, and able to handle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Bonus points if you’ve got dirt under your nails from shooting or hunting—familiarity with firearms isn’t required but is strongly preferred.
