Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable and efficient data models, considering both relational and non-relational databases, to meet business requirements.

Database Management: Oversee database management systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with best practices.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and software developers, to understand data requirements and provide architectural guidance.

Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the data team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data-related processes, optimizing queries and database performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience (15 years) as a Data Architect or in a similar role

Must to have Master data management experience, having Customer,Product MDM experience is a plus

Good Experience in implementing Snowflake and DBT (must to have)

Experience in the Insurance industry is a plus

In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles and methodologies

Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS)

Experience with CICD

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (must to have)

Leadership experience in guiding data teams

Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake and DBT) are a plus.
