Senior Software Engineer (Power Platform)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Administrative Applications SharePoint team, supporting and enhancing the Government Tracking System. This role requires a highly skilled developer who can work independently, tackle complex tasks, and provide technical leadership when needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable applying creativity and problem-solving to build scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance software applications by analyzing system requirements, engaging with users, and optimizing workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by investigating system flow, data usage, and process inefficiencies.
  • Implement and maintain solutions in alignment with system standards and specifications.
  • Contribute to the development and automation of business processes using Power Platform tools, including Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven applications), Power Automate, Workflows & Business Process Automation), Dataverse (Data management & integrations), Power BI (Reporting & Data Visualization)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and ensure optimal application performance.
  • Document processes, configurations, and development work to support long-term maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of designing and implementing enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to independently manage tasks and contribute to large-scale development efforts.
  • Hands-on current experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Experience working with SharePoint environments and data integration.
  • Strong understanding of data management and application development workflows.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Effective communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
