Azure Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Azure Project Manager to lead and manage cloud-based projects across both infrastructure and application domains. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure-based projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical requirements. The Azure Project Manager will work closely with both infrastructure teams and application development teams to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.

Expert level Project Management experience.

• A solid understanding of cloud computing, DevOps processes, CI/CD, and cloud-based development technologies.
• Familiarity with Hybrid Cloud Environments.
• Project Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for Azure-based infrastructure and application projects. Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Azure Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
• Application Management: Manage application development and deployment on Azure platforms, including both traditional and cloud-native applications. Ensure proper architecture, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, development, security, and business stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to senior leadership.
• Governance & Risk Management: Implement effective project governance, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify potential risks and proactively manage them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve project delivery methodologies for both infrastructure and application deployments within the Azure ecosystem.
• Azure Best Practices: Ensure that all projects adhere to Azure best practices, including security, cost optimization, and scalability.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. PMP, Azure certifications, or similar project management qualifications are a plus.
