We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Engineer to contribute to engineering projects and develop innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring 2-4 years of technical engineering experience, with expertise in developing systems, automating processes, and leveraging cloud-based tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks. This role also involves collaborating with technical teams, documenting solutions, and driving innovation to improve existing systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Engineering Services
- Support engineering projects by developing software solutions, conducting tests, and preparing reports and calculations.
- Mentor associate engineers when required.
Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective system solutions.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
Technical Writing
- Write documentation for system designs, business requirements, and new code implementations.
- Document system operations, including presentations and technical processes for engineers.
Technology Strategy
- Contribute to adopting new technologies to achieve business goals.
- Understand system protocols, data flows, and dependencies to develop complete software stacks for automation projects.
- Partner with system engineers to define system and automation requirements.
Innovation
- Present insights to improve existing processes using new frameworks.
- Analyze and refine current company processes to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2-4 years of technical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes.
- Experience building and maintaining Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines.
- Ability to design and develop reports using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of coding in Java and Python.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of container platform technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice-to-Have
- Strong analytical skills to review and refine system processes.
- Experience mentoring associate engineers.
- Familiarity with advanced data visualization techniques.
