Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical support for all aspects of network, computer, data/voice infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across office, field, and manufacturing sites.
  • Liaise and execute tasks with global support teams, vendors, and managed services providers (MSPs).
  • Perform Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to end-to-end delivery of projects with a focus on localized processes associated with procurement, staging, installation and asset lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business contacts, ensuring problem resolution and facilitating system change management.
  • Coordinate on-site and remote support, offering after-hours assistance on a rotational basis.
  • Work in a supportive environment with a strong safety and security focus.
  • Ensure all applicable corporate IT standard processes and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate support for on-site and other remote sites as required.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions from ideation, cost estimation, and requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to strive towards operational excellence.
  • Travel as required to support operational and project deliverable requirements.
Skill Requirements:
  • To be successful for this role, it is desired that the candidate will have knowledge, skills, experience, and willingness to bring:
  • Experience in physical infrastructure support, problem diagnosis, equipment handling, and knowledge of facility and business considerations.
  • Proficiency and comprehension of the platforms essential for facilitating the delivery of infrastructure services, including but not limited to cloud-based solutions, virtualization technologies, and networking.
  • Technical expertise in storage and server hardware, telecommunication services, TCP/IP networking, and ServiceNow tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to power, cooling, and backup systems.
  • Previous experience in large or multinational companies, with a focus on virtual teams, planning, process adherence, and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to apply design principles to create efficient and reliable cabling solutions across various environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in planning, coordination, multitasking, and self-motivation with minimal direction.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to change, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Resourcefulness, strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and an analytical approach.
  • Customer service excellence with a proven ability to resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems, develop implementation plans, and work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Relevant network and service management certifications would be highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional IT experience.
  • Familiarity with deployment of the latest network technologies such as SD WAN, Zero Trust, and SDP.
Computing Environment:
  • Expertise in supporting Windows Server / Storage (NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.) / etc.
  • Experience in Network support covering Radio/Wireless Motorola, Aviat and Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Palo Alto devices, etc.
  • Familiarity with ESM ServiceNow / Cloud-AWS/Azure.
