- Oversee procurement and vendor management to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production and operational performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, ensuring a high level of employee engagement and performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions on production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative techniques and technologies into production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perfer Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent Excel/ Google Docs Software.
- Prefer Bilingual in Spanish.
- This position may require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on production needs.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a kitchen and production environment with varying temperatures.
- Lean Manufacturing background. (Six Sigma Green Belt Preferable)
- Strong proven leadership with focused results based on KPIs.
