Kirkland Land Care is looking for several entry level landscapers. In this position you will learn and perform various gardening functions which may require the use of hand tools and light landscape equipment under the guidance and supervision of a Foreman.

Essential Job Functions
Given the entry level nature of the work performed by the laborer, there are no minimum education of experience requirements for this position.
Physical Considerations
Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Working Conditions
Work is predominantly outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels. Exposure to dust is also a factor during the summer months.

- Maintain a culture of safety by wearing proper PPE, wearing seat belt when traveling in a company vehicle, using proper lifting techniques, maintaining tools and equipment for safety, demonstrate proper lifting techniques and wearing the proper clothing
- Shows up to work each day on time, completes all tasks within the time expectation, adheres to company dress code policy, wears clean clothes to work each day and follows paid sick leave reporting procedures
- Pulls weeds, rakes leaves, sweeps sidewalks, and cleans debris. Prunes shrubs and low trees, grooms seasonal color beds, clears ditches, digs holes, and perform other landscape maintenance tasks as needed
- Operates light landscape equipment (21-inch mower, leaf blower, line trimmer/weed eater, stick edger, and hedge trimmer) properly and safely
- Treats others with respect, collaboration, and support in such a way that work relationships are improved and morale is increased
