Job Title: GitHub Copilot Team Engineer

Job Overview:

• Client is seeking a GitHub Copilot Team Engineer to support and optimize AI coding assistant tools for enterprise developers. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and innovation to enhance developer productivity through AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for AI coding assistants, ensuring smooth functionality for enterprise users.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Configure and optimize AI tools to align with enterprise development needs.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate engineers on AI-driven development tools.
• Monitor AI tool performance and adoption, offering insights for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and guidelines for AI coding assistants.
• Lead research and evaluation of AI coding tools, testing new features and functionalities.
• Integrate AI coding assistant capabilities into existing software development workflows.

• Develop and support data pipelines to load telemetry data into internal data warehouses.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to maintain high availability and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or similar role in software development.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or similar AI-driven tools.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting enterprise software tools.
• Ability to conduct tool evaluations and make recommendations for AI-powered development.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining IDE extensions for environments like VS Code, IntelliJ, or Eclipse.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience integrating AI-driven development tools into large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and developer productivity tooling.
• Familiarity with data processing pipelines and telemetry tracking.
