JOB TITLE: Preventive Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

  • Performs preventative and routine maintenance of abatements equipment, per
  • documented procedures
  • Manages the PM schedule and coordinates activities with tool owners
  • Follows all safety protocol, pre and post maintenance activity
  • Disassembles equipment and pump exhaust lines for cleaning and decontamination
  • Prepares contaminated parts and coordinates cleaning activities
  • Reinstalls cleaned and or new replacement parts and assemblies
  • Performs system start-up and post maintenance testing
  • Maintains maintenance logs and completes all required documentation
  • Creates, modifies and updates excel, word and PowerPoint documents
  • Ability to perform helium leak checks after performing on-site repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Maintains clean work areas, tools and toolboxes


Job Requirements

  • Ability to support compressed work, 3 day/4 day/week rotation, 12 hours/day
  • 1-2 years of Mechanical or Electrical experience
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time and to walk long distances
  • This position will come in contact with chemicals. The use of aprons, face shields and specialized gloves will be required. (All PPE and training provided)
  • Ability to utilize all required personal protective equipment including potential use of respirators
  • Ability to pass required drug screening and background check
  • Minimum high school diploma required
