Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage VMware environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Integrate and manage Azure Stack with on-premises VMware infrastructure. Collaborate with teams to migrate workloads between VMware and Azure Stack environments. Monitor and troubleshoot VMware and Azure Stack systems, ensuring optimal performance. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies. Provide support for disaster recovery plans and backup solutions. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in virtualization and cloud computing. Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for cloud environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience with VMware products (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, etc.). Strong understanding of Azure Stack architecture and services. Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools. Familiarity with networking, storage, and security in cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect). Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
