SENIOR REGIONAL IT SPECIALIST

Location: Brea. CA
Job type and Duration: 3 Month Contract

Our client, a global architecture and design firm, is looking to hire a Senior Regional IT Specialist for their regional IT group in Brea, CA.

The Senior Regional Office Information Technology (IT) Specialist will lead the delivery of audio services and Information Technology offerings to our clients across the United States, emphasizing teamwork, customer commitment, urgency, and continuous improvement. This position will assist with technical advice and support our employee-owners in quality IT and audio services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead installation repair and upgrade of computer hardware.
  • Lead troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Develop and present training on hardware and software packages.
  • Lead preventative IT/Network maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Problem solve with Corporate IT Infrastructure team issues related to installation, maintenance, and repair of network and phone resources.
  • Resolve any issues in Audio Visual (AV) enabled spaces to complete resolution, including coordination with AV integration partners on hardware warranty, control system programming, or cabling issues.
  • In collaboration with AV integration partners lead the design and implementation of corporate AV standards in any corporate office relocation, remodel, or expansion.
  • Lead acceptance testing for any AV-integrated control system for all new installations, moves, or changes.
  • Lead the installation of basic, standard, AV spaces when schedule or cost prohibits the use of AV integration partner.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with regional office staff and management for feedback/user integration.
  • Lead IT processes for daily activities as defined by Corporate IT including asset management activities and IT inventory management.
  • Lead asset management tasks by completing appropriate documentation, maintaining inventories of active equipment, and providing for the disposition of returned technology assets.
  • Provide support for customers in all Client locations via phone, video, e-mail, and in-person to resolve.
  • Resolve incidents assigned from other IT groups or non-IT sources.
  • Provide AV support during presentations and company-sponsored events
  • Provide setup and execution of video conferences.
  • Responsible for ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree AND 8 years relevant experience Required or Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Required
  • This position requires a self-starter with a bias for proactive initiative, excellent follow-through on tasks, strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Technical expertise in desktops, workstations, laptops, and other IT peripheral devices is required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in LAN/WAN environments and possess expert problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent audio-visual skills, including issue troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Microsoft A+ certification Preferred
