In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate conferences to community gatherings. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Events Manager in all aspects of event management, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and exceeds our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including logistics coordination and vendor management. Support the Events Manager in creating and distributing event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage. Coordinate and communicate with vendors, venues, and staff to ensure seamless event operations. Manage event registration and assist with attendee inquiries before, during, and after events. Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and assist in generating financial reports post-event. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for future improvements and assist in implementing changes. Help set up event spaces, including arrangement of seating, staging, and audiovisual equipment. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with clients, vendors, and attendees. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
