Position Overview:
This position supports a cost reduction initiative focused on shared services within the retail space. The role specifically supports documentation efforts within the Lending line of business, contributing to onboarding and maintaining written communication artifacts. The selected candidate will join a team established approximately one year ago that is still evolving with the implementation of the Written Communications Platform. The team operates under a Kanban Agile methodology and is responsible for executing monthly releases. This opportunity is part of a growing team structure with cross-functional dependencies and collaborative workflows. The Business Systems Analyst will play a central role in facilitating business and technology integration by translating business needs into actionable user stories and aligning documentation processes. This position requires strong coordination with internal and external teams, maintaining detailed documentation, assisting in operational readiness, and supporting release processes. Candidates will be expected to ensure deliverables align with internal standards and contribute actively to sprint ceremonies and communication workflows.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4–6 years of experience managing multiple projects, gathering and documenting business requirements, and working with cross-functional teams outside of the core group.
- Strong background in documentation creation including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Must be familiar with Agile/Kanban methodologies and able to actively participate in ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Experience coordinating with external business and print center representatives.
- Ability to provide detailed documentation updates for internal platforms such as Confluence, operation runbooks, and release status sheets.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills are essential. Must demonstrate accountability, assertiveness, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid team environment.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Experience with data mapping and prior involvement in banking system integrations.
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Document business needs in the form of actionable user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to internal standards and formats
- Ensure completion standards are met including proper labeling, project tagging, and story structure
- Work closely with the Product Owner, business lines, and Written Communications team to resolve requirement ambiguities
- Identify and define BRE rules and record them in the designated BFR rules spreadsheet
- Create and maintain form field mapping documentation to support mapping integration with Postman
- Coordinate with Print Center stakeholders for batch introduction or changes
- Support QA and Product Owner teams during acceptance testing phases
- Maintain and update Operation Runbooks with details of batch processing workflows
- Regularly update release status sheets and participate in Release Review sessions with Run the Bank teams
- Maintain accurate information on the WC Source Confluence page for new and updated integrations
- Collaborate with source system representatives to validate mapping documentation
- Contribute to estimation efforts when required by providing scope and resource analysis
- Actively participate and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint refinements, retrospectives, and demos
- Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with teams external to the core group, ensuring alignment on project dependencies and timelines
- Balance multiple project responsibilities while ensuring deliverables meet established deadlines and requirements
- Demonstrate ownership over tasks and follow-through on deliverables to support successful monthly release cycles
