About the Role
The North America Supply & Inventory Planning (S&IP) team is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory health across the geography, ensuring seamless alignment between marketplace demand and supply. As part of the broader Demand & Supply Management (DSM) function, we combine marketplace insights, inventory objectives, and product hierarchy to drive supply strategies that support consumer demand in the marketplace. This role is critical in ensuring inventory is forecasted, purchased, and delivered efficiently, contributing directly to business success.

We are looking for a Senior Supply & Inventory Planner to manage end-to-end (E2E) inventory planning for a designated segment of the North America business. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory planning needs and will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that product demand aligns with production timelines, while also proactively resolving any potential risks or supply chain disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply & Inventory Planning: Oversee the regular (weekly/bi-weekly) purchasing of finished goods, ensuring timely and efficient execution to support Consumer x Field of Play (FoP) strategies.
Supply Health Management: Create purchase orders, adjust supply parameters, and analyze opportunities for optimizing supply efficiency. Manage tradeoffs related to delivery timing and revenue opportunities, ensuring healthy inventory levels through proactive decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Consumer x FoP teams, DSM counterparts, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Brand, and Global Supply & Manufacturing Partners to ensure alignment on inventory targets and delivery expectations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to track key metrics, identify risks, and drive solutions to ensure on-time delivery and inventory productivity. Provide regular updates to business partners on inventory status and performance.
Problem Solving & Escalation: Address and resolve operational challenges, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely purchasing, on-time delivery, and overall inventory health.
Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize planning tools, and refine inventory management practices.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Supply & Inventory Planner with a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations. You'll need strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, actionable manner across diverse teams. Key qualities include:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain experience.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and translate it into strategic insights for diverse audiences.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and use data to inform decision-making. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros) are essential.
Agility: Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities, with a focus on executing high-level plans while managing day-to-day operational details.
Problem Solving: Strong decision-making abilities, particularly in ambiguous or high-pressure situations, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Collaboration: Superior interpersonal skills with experience building relationships across teams, functions, and regions.
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is preferred; proficiency in planning tools and software is a plus.
Adaptability: Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

What You Bring
Experience: 5+ years of relevant supply/inventory planning or supply chain experience.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, experience with SAP ERP (preferred), and an ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Agility: Ability to think strategically while managing tactical and operational aspects of supply and inventory planning.
Collaborative: Proven ability to work across teams and geographies to drive positive business outcomes.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Process Improvement: A mindset of continuous improvement, with the drive to streamline processes and enhance planning systems.

This role is assisting with a project to optimize the product supply chain for Canada. They will help identify opportunities for inventory management and demand planning.

Must Have:
End to end retail product planning
Experience managing large SKU count
ERP software experience

Nice to Have:
End-customer management experience
Market place experience, a retail background
Aware of the criticality of timing and how products are delivered
High communication skills, can simplify complex topics
SAP, cognos, or similar tools.

NOT looking for:
NOT warehouse heavy or full backend distribution experience
