Role: Pace Administrator

Job Type: Contract to hire

Job Description:

The ePS Pace Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of our EFI Pace MIS system. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Pace, understands printing and manufacturing workflows, and can troubleshoot, customize, and integrate the system with other platforms.

Key job responsibilities

  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the EFI Pace system, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Customization & Configuration: Configure Pace modules to align with business needs, including setting up workflows, reports, and automation.
  • User Support & Training: Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training as needed.
  • Integrations & API Management: Work with internal teams and vendors to integrate Pace with other business applications.
  • Data & Reporting: Ensure accurate data flow, create reports, and optimize system usage for efficiency.
  • Security & Compliance: Maintain user roles, permissions, and ensure system security and compliance with IT policies.
  • Upgrades & Enhancements: Evaluate and implement system updates, patches, and new functionalities to improve performance.

Basic qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience administering and configuring EFI Pace.
  • Strong knowledge of print MIS workflows and industry best practices.
  • Experience with custom reporting (SQL, Crystal Reports, or similar).
  • Understanding of API integrations and data mapping.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with business process automation and scripting a plus.

Key skills

  • Familiarity with EFI Pace Job Costing, Estimating, Inventory, or Scheduling modules.
  • Experience integrating Pace with Web-to-Print, ERP, or CRM systems.
  • Background in the printing, packaging, or manufacturing industry
