We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop/Network Support Analyst in the manufacturing industry based in Ladson, South Carolina, 29456, United States. The role involves designing, specifying, configuring, installing, and maintaining local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.

Responsibilities:
Establish and manage network users, user environment, directories, and security
Coordinate and negotiate contracts with hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup
Respond to network users' inquiries and needs concerning their access to resources on the network and various software programs operations
Communicate with other departments to address and resolve software, hardware, and operations issues
Conduct research and evaluate new technologies
Develop and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data
Provide training to users on software and equipment usage
Install and test software upgrades
Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures
Collect and analyze network and memory utilization data

Requirements

Proficient in Computer Hardware operations and maintenance.
Demonstrable expertise in Active Directory management and configuration.
Ability to perform Basic Network Troubleshooting to maintain system efficiency.
Possession of Comptia Network+ certification or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of Desktop Hardware, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience in Desktop Imaging to ensure system backups and data protection.
Familiarity with various Desktop Systems and ability to manage and maintain them effectively.
