Identity Governance Technology Manager

Description

Robert Half Technology is seeking an Identity Governance Technology Manager to support a client in the retail industry. This role will be instrumental in securing and governing user identities, optimizing technical capabilities, and driving continuous improvement in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Duration: 3-6-month contract to hire

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-5pm)

Job Description:

• Lead the delivery of the Identity Governance strategy, ensuring efficient user lifecycle management.
• Manage and support a team of identity governance professionals, fostering a healthy and collaborative team culture.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of the identity governance platform.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce identity governance policies and processes.
• Collaborate with technology teams and business leaders to ensure seamless IAM integrations across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement cycles to enhance the user access review program.
• Implement security improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with vendors and business partners.
• Ensure the identity governance platform aligns with security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of IAM technology leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience managing Identity Governance tools such as SailPoint IIQ.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., SOX, PCI).
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive collaboration, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in IAM technologies, governance processes, and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build trusted relationships.
• A balanced approach to security and business flexibility, ensuring solutions meet both operational and compliance needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and non-technical audiences.
