Sr. Database Developer/API job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and integrate complex database systems (Oracle, DB2) to meet business requirements.
- Lead and participate in the architecture and design of web services and APIs (JAVA, Mule) for seamless system communication.
- Drive backend systems integration to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Define and implement architecture for backend system/application integration using SOA design patterns and microservices.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide applications with new technologies.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and governance while leading projects related to data systems enhancement and integration.
- Communicate effectively with management, business analysts, and team members regarding technical solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, API design, and systems integration.
- Proficiency in database design and integration (Oracle, DB2, etc.) and web service/API architecture (JAVA, Mule).
- Experience in backend systems integration, SOA design patterns, and microservices architecture.
