Summary:
The Startups team is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Content Marketing Manager to join our Startups team. This role will be responsible for driving the strategy for our organic content channels, including social media, blogs, and our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Content Marketing, PR, and Media Relations, with a proven track record of amplifying brand narratives through various channels.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for Startups, focusing on organic content channels such as social media, blogs, and the website
* Own the external narrative for Startups, working closely with internal Corporate Communications and Business Development teams to amplify our message through press releases and media outreach
* Drive the strategy for our channel marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives
* Manage and oversee the creation of high-quality content that resonates with our target audience of venture-backed startup founders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all content channels
* Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve our content strategy
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, PR, and media relations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
* 8-10+ years of experience with Previous MSFT Experience - in the Marketing Org is a plus
* 8-10+ years of experience with growth and digital marketing
* 8-10+ years of experience with analytical experience
* 8-10+ years of experience in content marketing, PR, and media relations, preferably within the tech industry
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO, and content performance metrics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Preference for candidates with familiarity with the startup ecosystem
* Strong stakeholder and program management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
