What is the Automation Development Team and Why Join?

The Automation Development Team at WWT is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining workflow automation solutions using industry-standard low-code/no-code (LCNC) platforms. We work in a collaborative, high-performance environment to solve business challenges by leveraging automation technologies and best practices. As part of this team, you will work with business partners, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Automation Developer, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing workflow automation solutions using industry-standard LCNC platforms, following best practices, company policies, and security guidelines.
  • Collaborating with Platform architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure governance, security, performance, and scalability best practices.
  • Leading the adoption of workflow automation platforms within WWT with an "automation-first" mindset.
  • Applying user-centric design principles to develop apps and workflows with intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to performance, reliability, and security.
  • Mentoring and supporting developers and engineers through technical guidance and best practices.
  • Staying up to date with the latest automation technologies, testing new developments, and recommending appropriate implementations.
  • Providing production support, addressing and resolving live environment issues efficiently.
  • Leading Agile development cycles by planning, prioritizing, designing, testing, and delivering end-to-end automation solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Software Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), RPA (UiPath), or ServiceNow (App Engine, Process Automation Designer, Workspaces, and Workflows).
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure (or public cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL and RDBMS systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience with enterprise-grade programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience working with additional low-code platforms and automation technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint and various data stores (RDBMS, flat files, columnar DBs, blob storage containers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) concepts.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into automation solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.
