Our direct client, a prestigious global firm in Northern NJ, seeks an experienced Data Modeler to join a team building new applications which pull data from various systems, i.e. Salesforce, SAP S4Hana, and others. This is a contract role and the rest of the team is in East Coast time so we prefer someone on the east coast. Monthly visits to the office for in-person workshops are required, but the daily work can be done remotely. A candidate located on the East Coast who can drive to the monthly meetings in Northern NJ would be preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Study systems and procedures and design enterprise databases to help the organization operate more effectively.
  • Understanding and explaining business needs expressed in data models supporting long-term solutions
  • Working with key project stakeholders to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models
  • Creating relevant data models using accepted professional procedures to ensure high data quality and limit redundancy
  • Optimizing and updating logical and physical data models to support new and emerging projects
  • Encourage team effort in solving problems that arise along the way.
  • Help other IT team members understand how systems can best serve an organization.

Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce, S4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Microsoft technologies and their underlying databases and data models is a must have.
  • Collaborate with business process teams in CRM, ERP, HR, and Risk Management to gather and analyze data requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in database system applications, stored procedures and data warehousing.
  • Experience in : DATA QUALITY, DATABASE MODELING, STORED PROCEDURES. DATA WAREHOUSING

Duties: Remote EST time preferred Will meet once a month for a week within the Montvale NJ area.
