  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Location: Flushing, NY

Shift: Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 7 Weeks

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Labor Management: Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, maternal vitals, and other critical signs during labor.
  • Assessment & Documentation: Perform comprehensive assessments on patients upon admission and during labor; document accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborative Care: Work in collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
  • Delivery Assistance: Assist with delivery as needed, including providing support for vaginal and cesarean births.
  • Patient Education: Offer education and support to patients and their families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond swiftly to emergencies, including performing interventions such as CPR and other life-saving measures as necessary.
  • Postpartum Care: Provide care and assessment for patients post-delivery, including monitoring recovery and educating on postpartum care.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active RN license in New York State.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery nursing, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability: Must be available to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts for the full 7-week contract duration.
