RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Administrator in Hollywood, FL (Florida).

Responsibilities:
Network Design & Maintenance:
* Configure and manage LAN/WAN environments, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting
* Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
* Implement and manage Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions
* Maintain fiber switches and associated infrastructure
* Optimize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive upgrades

Security & Compliance:
* Configure and maintain firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
* Enforce IT security policies, including access controls and 802.1X authentication
* Conduct network security audits and vulnerability assessments

Wireless & Cloud Networking:
* Manage Cisco Meraki wireless access points
* Ensure secure and efficient wireless connectivity
* Work with virtualized networking environments (VMware NSX, vCenter)

Support & Documentation:
* Provide technical support and incident response within SLA guidelines
* Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution

Telecom Support:
* Provide technical support for Unified Cisco Call Manager (UCCM, UCaaS)
* Proficient in voice and related technology
* Troubleshooting circuits and ISP related issues

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required; Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA), or other relevant certifications preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a fast paced and dynamic technical support environment or equivalent with a combination of education and experience
* Experience with Cisco platforms (ISE, VoIP, Meraki)
* Knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, LiveAction)
* Understanding of SD-WAN, cloud networking, and virtualization
* Expertise in routing, switching (L2/L3), and network security
* Proficiency in fiber infrastructure and load balancers
* Strong problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills
* Ability to document procedures and effectively communicate with stakeholders

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
* Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. for hardware installations
* Work in a quiet office environment with occasional field visits
* Travel required up to 30%

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
