ServiceNow Product Owner - responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and priorities for a ServiceNow platform within an organization, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team by gathering requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful implementation of new features and functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on optimizing business processes and user experience across various modules like ITSM and CSM.
Bring deep understanding of business process and organizational change to guide internal customers on their ServiceNow journey. Lead and prescribe clients to best practices and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Evaluate the impact of changes and innovations and serve as the functional subject matter. experts to clients and teammates.
Key responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into user stories for development.
  • Product Backlog Management: Work closely with Product Manager on prioritizing and maintain the product backlog, ensuring a clear roadmap for development based on business value and user priorities.
  • Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with the ServiceNow development team to communicate requirements, clarify ambiguities, and ensure successful sprint execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior management, end users, and technical teams to manage expectations and address concerns.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing phases to ensure new/existing features and functionalities meet quality standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
