What You'll Do
- Develop and execute fleet financing strategies across EVs, IC vehicles, and AVs, supporting Uber's mobility goals.
- Structure and negotiate debt financing solutions with lenders, asset-backed investors, and fleet operators to optimize capital efficiency.
- Engage with investors and financial institutions, building strong relationships to secure financing partnerships and investment opportunities.
- Review and negotiate legal documents and term sheets related to fleet financing, ensuring alignment with Uber's strategic and financial objectives.
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to assess funding structures, risk-return profiles, and capital allocation strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Corporate Development, Business Development, and Legal to structure and execute fleet financing initiatives.
- Lead internal and external stakeholder management, collaborating with Uber's finance, strategy, operations, and product teams as well as OEMs, fleet operators, and institutional investors.
- Develop presentations and materials to communicate financing strategies, market opportunities, and investment proposals to executive leadership and external partners.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and the evolving automotive landscape, providing strategic insights on financing innovation and fleet industry shifts.

- 8+ years of experience in auto financing, capital markets, investment banking, or private equity, with a focus on structured finance or fleet-related transactions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or relevant area
- Strong expertise in debt structuring, credit analysis, investor engagement, and legal documentation.
- Proven ability to develop and execute complex financing strategies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to analyze financing structures and risk profiles.
- Deep knowledge of the automotive landscape, including OEMs, fleet operators, financial institutions, and investors.
- Excellent presentation-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience structuring vehicle financing, leasing, or asset-backed lending transactions.
- Familiarity with other financing structures, including merchant financing, credit card programs, and alternative lending models.
- Established network within auto financing, fleet management, and investment communities.
- Familiarity with EV financing models, sustainability-linked investment structures, and AV adoption trends.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- CFA is not required but considered a plus.
