Operations Intern
Department: Site Management
Principal Accountabilities/Job Duties:
- Conducts research and analysis to understand current processes and identify opportunities for capturing metrics. (30%)
- Develops and implements a standardized process for capturing relevant operational data. (30%)
- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to ensure the reporting process aligns with organizational goals. (20%)
- Prepares detailed reports on findings and progress for operational team meetings. (10%)
- Assists in the testing and refinement of the metrics reporting system. (10%)
- The minimum educational requirement for this role is enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Data Analytics, Business, Operations Management or a related field.
- The role does not require prior professional experience but prefers candidates with coursework or projects related to operations management or data analytics.
- The scope of this role includes supporting the development of a comprehensive metrics reporting process, encompassing workflow analysis and documentation.
- The impact of this role includes supporting improved operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decisions through accurate and timely metrics reporting.
- This role requires initiative in problem-solving and the ability to propose actionable enhancements to the metrics reporting process.
- Strong understanding data analysis techniques.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Smartsheet/Tableau preferred.
- $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience
