Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing plans for aerospace details and assemblies utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Select the most efficient manufacturing method to optimize profitability, quality, and lead time.
- Coordinate with production personnel to ensure producibility of parts.
- Identify raw materials, standards, and outside processing requirements.
- Assist with the maintenance of engineering drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.
- Assist with the resolution of manufacturing problems.
- Rode model proper work ethics and behaviors.
- Work with colleagues to review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred, with 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace environment.
- Experience with the manufacture of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System requirements.
- Experience planning withing an ERP system, Epicor preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational program management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
