- Manages Clinical Engineering human capital staffing and scheduling.
- Participates in the hiring process of new employees.
- Influential in change management across the health system to drive CE initiatives regarding financial and operational goals.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with department leaders to drive program adoption and success.
- Participates in the Monthly/Quarterly Business Review meetings.
- Establishes and maintains hospital executive relationships.
- Assigns routine repairs, inspections, and installations to the team and observes their performance.
- Develops and presents solution options to Regional Operations Leader.
- Provides guidance and support regarding continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational and financial excellence.
- Develops and manages hospital operational KPIs (Regulatory, PM’s, Work Orders, etc.).
- Manages audits, inspections, and all required documentation for hospital regulatory compliance.
- Develops service strategies that drive hospital strategic initiatives and the SPBS program.
- Provides technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance to personnel as needed.
- Manages operational and financial performance of the SPBS Program.
- Maintains accurate documentation on equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
- Maintains active communication with hospital department leaders and through the hospital as well as vendors, manufacturers, and customers.
- Maintains accurate inventory, tracking both the addition and deactivation of medical equipment.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as government regulation.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by Regional Ops Manager and/or CEO.
