Performs a wide variety of responsible work involving facility and program supervision for persons with and without disabilities, including instructing, implementing, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating various games, sports, programs, activities, facilities and events, processing registrations, permits and fees inclusive of Summer Camp and Out of School Programming. Assists with facilitation of programs/services. Interacts with program participants and volunteers with or without disabilities, inclusive of youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Work is performed under the general guidance of the Supervisor and is reviewed through reports, on-site visits, and results obtained.

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of three (3) months of experience in organizing and supervising recreational activities.

Necessary Special Requirement: Must possess current First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification at time of application (Copy of Certification must be attached to application) OR obtain within six (6) months of hire.

PREFERENCE FOR: Customer service experience to include providing information and resolving concerns/complaints; experience working with adults, youth, and teens.
