Registered Nurse

Cardiology Clinic / Monday - Friday / 8:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Accurately record patient history per policy
• Retrieve initial basic condition of patients and create nursing history to report to appropriate practitioner
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records
• Maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
• Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment
• Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, and take corrective action when violations occur
• Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay them accurately to patients
• Take calls from hospitals and nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioner in a timely manner
• Assure test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner
• Complete medical orientation checklist
• Initiate appropriate patient education
  
  

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state license
• BLS Certified
• EKG Experience Required
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cardiac Experience Preferred
• Will consider hospital or primary care experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
