- Assist with meal tray assembly, delivery, and pickup, ensuring accuracy in dietary orders.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient and guest inquiries or concerns related to food service.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and plating meals according to recipes and dietary requirements.
- Maintain inventory by stocking supplies, rotating stock, and informing supervisors of shortages.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following sanitation protocols.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Participate in training sessions and stay informed about hospital policies and procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
