
M365 Purview Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and Configure Microsoft Purview: Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview solutions to ensure comprehensive data governance and compliance.
- Manage Data Policies: Develop and enforce data policies to ensure data privacy, protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and Report: Continuously monitor data usage and compliance, generating regular reports to identify areas of improvement.
- Support Security Measures: Collaborate with the security team to integrate Purview solutions with existing security measures, enhancing data protection.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on best practices for data management and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft Purview and data governance technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data governance, compliance, and security within a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage data compliance and security issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other data governance tools and solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as NIST and HIPPA, etc.
- Project management experience.
