About The Role
We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager to support strategic initiatives, marketing & business planning and operations across our international markets. While this role will report to the Head of Strategy & Planning, Global Marketing, it will partner closely with our regional marketing teams and focus on our international business.

What You'll Do
- Develop recommendations on key business questions across Mobility, Delivery, and Platform with frameworks, customer insights, and data to unlock growth opportunities
- Analyze large sets of data and insights to develop regional perspectives on key business priorities and inform marketing strategy
- Lead competitive insights by analyzing internal and external data and monitoring the competitive landscape to identify risks and opportunities
- Connect global & local efforts by aligning global visions with local marketing campaigns and identifying insights across markets/regions to advise global strategies
- Support complex cross-functional initiatives working closely with regional & central marketing, performance marketing, finance, product, and operations teams
- Be a thought partner to the regional marketing teams to support the growth of Uber
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting supporting a marketing organization.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to quickly isolate data and insights
- Advanced SQL/Google Sheets proficiency.
- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets
- Bachelor's degree
- Never hesitates to dive right in and address something hands-on, persevering and finding solutions.
- Biased toward action and a master disambiguate/simplifier, always pushing towards clarity and delivery.
- Demonstrates optimism, respects others and fosters teamwork.
