Requirements / Qualifications

Under general direction, facilitate and coordinate services to students with special needs; provide support to school site administrators, general education and IEP teams regarding issues related to special education programs and services with an emphasis on providing students with exceptional needs access to the core curriculum. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education:

  • May possess one of the following: Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential, Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential, Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential, and/or Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
  • Valid Administrative Services Credential or working towards attainment within a 3-year timeframe.
  • Master’s Degree, preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of successful classroom experience;
  • Successful experience in applying principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis and/or providing students with disabilities access to the core curriculum; through modifications, accommodations, and intervention plans. Important Dates:
  • Tentative Panel Interview: TBD
  • Tentative Final Interview: TBD
