We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our thriving Construction team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play an integral role in driving and supporting our business growth. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from pre-construction planning to completion and handover.
- Managing the submittals process, including preparing, reviewing, and ensuring all submittals are in compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinating and directing project design, estimating, and scheduling activities to ensure all project deadlines are met.
- Leading and managing project teams, including contractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Preparing and presenting detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large scale projects from inception to completion.
- Extensive experience with submittals, including preparing, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- A Professional Project Management (PMP) certification would be a plus.
