Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Installation Technician to join our team! As a Security Installation Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Security Systems and more. The ideal candidate has experience with security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and an analytical way of thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs
  • Troubleshoot problems in security systems, and make repairs or replacements
  • Install new security systems, including access control, intrusion alarms, IP and Analog Video Surveillance Systems and more
  • Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock your vehicle and supplies as needed
  • Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all time

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the security industry field is mandatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Familiarity with power tools and low voltage equipment
