Active Directory Engineer
Immediate opportunities for Active Directory (AD) experts to join our team as Customer Engineers (CE). CEs work with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, typically the F1000. They are responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of AD and Azure AD initiatives, assisting customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. CEs are trusted advisors/specialists that clients rely upon for guidance, education and adherence for best practices, risk mitigation etc.
Salary range: $90 - $110K based on experience
Travel: CEs are home based, typically delivering services via Microsoft Teams, however, some travel may be required.
Primary Work Includes:
- Standard Product Work Shops - Training
- In-Depth Product Reviews via White Board Chalk Talk Sessions
- Administer Health Checks and Risk Assessments
- Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
- Product Upgrade and or Migration Assessments
- Systems Performance Reviews
- Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support, and problem resolution
The Experience you need to excel in the role:
On-Prem AD:
AD Domain Service:
- AD Domain Service Concept
- AD DS Design and Configuration
- Domain Controllers Replication Concept
- Extensive Experience of Domain Controller Migrations
- Understanding of ADDS Domain Consolidation
- In-dept knowledge of ADDS Backup and Disaster Recovery
Group Policy Object Concept and Configuration including advanced troubleshooting experience
- DNS Configuration and integration with ADDS
- Troubleshooting multiple ADDS scenarios such as DCs Replication, Authentication, DNS, SYSVOL, etc.
- 3 years working with identity, AD CS (certificates), AD FS (federation), and AD RMS (remote management)
- Understanding of FSMO roles
